Today I’m sharing another of my inspiration boards for our new home, Two Lakes Lodge, and todays master bathroom inspiration board is the epitome of modern farmhouse style!
Our master bathroom is something I am so excited to get started on! We’ve wanted to renovate it for quite a long time now, and have only just started to get the wheels in motion to start the process. We have looked at so many designs from top to bottom, from circular windows to marble tiling, we had a lot to think about. As you can imagine, we have had plenty of time to go over what we want, as well as making sure that the necessary appliances and plumbing work has been completed thoroughly before making doing anything else. That reminds me. Imagine having a cold shower? No thank you, it’s not for me. A warm shower is a must, so that is something we need to get sorted before undertaking the rest of our bathroom renovation. With it not being a brand new house, stripping away the bathroom may reveal plumbing problems that have gone unnoticed and unaddressed for some time, such as leaks. In keeping with the modern farmhouse style we are aiming for with our new house, some of the photos I’ve found for inspiration for our master bathroom also have clean lines and lots of neutral colors like black and white. I love the contrast of the natural woods with that color scheme, as in the bathrooms below:
I especially love the tub and the floor tile in that last photo! I also think going for a sightly more modern vibe in terms of the shower enclosure could look nice also:
