Hey friends! Happy Wednesday! I love a good finished project, and that’s exactly what I have to share with you guys today. I’m excited to announce we completed the final step in “Phase 1” of our master bedroom renovation: our shiplap accent wall. This turned out gorgeous! As a wedding photographer, I’m always scouting for good textured backdrops for bridal prep or anniversary/boudoir sessions, and a clean shiplap wall like this is honestly one of the best! It adds warmth and texture without competing with the subject the way a busy pattern would. Brightens up the space too! Also appreciate you showing the leveling/spacing process; that’s usually where these accent walls go wrong and end up looking uneven in photos.
