Amazon is excellent for finding last minute gifts that are affordable and perfect for your loved ones! Today I’m sharing ten of the best Amazon Christmas gifts (everrr)!
1. an essential oil diffuser
I can’t tell you how often we use this diffuser! I finally bought one about a year ago, and it was one of the best decisions we made. I love this one in particular because you can run it on different settings (such as continuous, intermittent, or for a certain time period) and when it runs out of water, it turns off automatically. You can put all kinds of different essential oil scents, some of which can help with different ailments. For example, we love lavender for it’s potentially calming and mild anti-anxiety effects, and we use eucalyptus oil as it can act as a natural decongestant (perfect for these winter months where someone has a cold every other week!). Therefore, because of it’s versatility, this diffuser is one of my favorite and most highly-recommended gift ideas of the season!
2. must-have: lint shaver/depiller
I used to dread buying new sweaters. It was always a love-hate thing: I knew that those first few wears would be oh-so-sublime-and-cozy, but that after a while, the piling would start to appear and the sweater would lose it’s “new sweater” luster. Which is so depressing and would lead me to buy cheaper sweaters (the opposite of what you should do, of course!) because I knew they’d get worn out soon. Enter: the depiller. I bought my sister and mother one of these each last Christmas, and I should have bought everyone I know one! It is incredible how it breaths new life into an old sweater, and can make me just as excited to wear an old sweater again as I was the first time I wore it! This can make a great (and affordable!) stocking stuffer!
3. a magazine subscription
Sometimes the best kind of gift is the one that keeps on giving, so if your loved one absolutely adores a certain topic, why not give them it once a month for the next year? My personal favorite is Bon Appetit, because it is relatable to everyone: everyone loves good food and everyone has that someone in their family or friends group who loves to cook! (Insert raised hand emoji here.) This can make for another really lovely and affordable stocking stuffer!
4. an amazon gift card!
When all else fails, there’s nothing a person loves more than getting to pick out their own gift. So if your loved one is that kind of person (no judgment!), let them grab something on their own!
5. a sous vide precision cooker
Those of you who have been around the blog for a while will know how obsessed I am with this Anova sous vide machine. I’ve already touted how much I love it on the blog so many times (see here, for example), so I won’t beat a dead horse, but suffice it to say I think this is an excellent gift for the at-home chef who wants to take their cooking game to the next level!
6. an amazon echo
Alexa has made our lives so much easier! Some of the ways I use our Amazon Echo’s are to play music while I’m cooking (or decorating for the holidays!), to check the weather in the morning when I’m getting dressed, and to adjust our Nest thermostat (another great gift!). I love the added functionality that we get with multiple Echo’s throughout our house, so if your loved one isn’t on this bandwagon yet, this can be a great gift to jumpstart their conversion to a “smart home!”
7. their favorite book
If your loved one has a particular interest or hobby, then do a little research on Amazon about what some of the new and best books are for that area. For example, Joanna Gaines’ new book Homebody would be the perfect addition to any home design lovers collection, and it doubles as a beautiful coffee table book too!
8. a beautiful houseplant
Do you know how easy it can be to take care of a dwarf umbrella tree or any similar houseplant? And Amazon can deliver plants straight to you?! Like true, live, gorgeous plants, delivered directly to your door. I read all about it in this review here, and I can’t wait to order our first plant! I have spent a lot of time deciding the kind I want in my home. I’m loving these fiddle leaf fig trees, and I think this would be such a charming and unique gift to give to that special someone who has a green thumb!
9. the ultimate photographer’s backpack
Is your loved one into photography or videography and loves to travel? I purchased this backpack about four months ago prior to a trip we took to Disney World, and it was such a great investment! It is the perfect backpack for the traveling photographer because it has so many different pockets and compartments for all your photography accessories, and it also has the ability to convert to a regular backpack. It’s also extremely durable and looks pretty chic, so I don’t mind having to walk around with it!
10. an amazon prime subscription
I saved the best for last: the gift that keeps on giving! We get so much use out of our Amazon Prime subscription, everything from household goods that we totally forgot to snag at Costco during our weekly trip, to vitamins and pet medications, to books, DVD’s, cooking paraphernalia – you name it, we’ve bought it on Amazon.
Giving this gift to your friend or family member will get them Prime shipping on all eligible items for a year – so worth it!
Now it’s your turn: share with me in the comments below what the most meaningful gift you received last year during the holidays was and why!

I’m a really huge fan of smart Bluetooth speakers especially the once that have voice controls. I only see the voice control of Amazon Echo as its only coolest feature. But your article here has shown me other amazing feature that it can do. It makes it more than just a smart speaker. Amazon Echo is really the perfect gift for a christmas holiday.
