This lightweight linen blazer by Old Navy is the perfect addition to your summer wardrobe! It pairs well with so many looks, and is perfect for cool summer nights!
I have always been a fan of a blazer – I think it’s a easy way to make any look sharp and sophisticated, be it for work, a casual errands day, or a night out with the hubs! And I’ve discovered that a blazer is also a pregnant lady’s best friend!
First of all, during the first trimester it was a great way to camouflage my growing bump before we had made the announcement to anyone outside our immediate family. Just add an unstructured blazer to a beautiful flowing top or dress and your coworkers will be none-the-wiser until you want them to know!
Second, with my bigger, very-noticeable second trimester bump now, I find a blazer really highlights and accentuates my bump in a very flattering way! That’s why I’m loving this orange linen blazer look from Old Navy! It’s the perfect color and fabric weight for summer, although it does come in navy blue also if you want something more transitional between looks and different seasons. (Although I can totally see rocking this orange color through the fall – how pretty would that be?!)
I did the tone-on-tone orange look today with this simple and affordable sweater tank, which also comes in a gorgeous marigold color that I might also need this summer! Completing the look is a pair of maternity jeans (bought used from Poshmark, but a similar style can be found here), this adorable pineapple clutch from Express, and my favvvvorite summer shoes: these gold Halogen mules (they are currently listed as sold out on the Nordstrom website, but keep an eye out – I bet they restock because these are so perfect for the summer! Similar styles here and here).
