Tis the season, y’all! I have to say, it’s been snowing a lot, and I’m totally okay with it! This plaid poncho look I’m sharing with you today has a funny story behind it! It was one of those situations (that I’m afraid sometimes happens more than I’d like to admit!) where I purchased it online, tried it on with all the other items I’d got delivered in that package, loved it, put it in the closet and… totally forgot about it. I didn’t wear it once all winter or even on any of the chillier early spring days, and by the time I dug it out of my stack of scarves and ponchos a few weeks ago I was thinking “wait, what is this?”
Oh yeah… turns out this is the cutest plaid poncho wrap ever! I love the simple black/white/gray color combo because it makes the piece really versatile. I also love that it has a medium weight to it. That means that I can just as easily wear this in the winter right now over a sweater with jeans and some boots as I can in the spring over a camisole with some cute heels.

Let me just talk about these boots too for a minute: these are my new favorite boots! I’ve been looking for the perfect pair of suede heel boots for a while now, and these are them. They are comfortable, they are a decent price, and even with my fairly thin calves they fit well when I’ve got tights, jeans, or leggings tucked into them.
