Monday Musings is a weekly post I started where I highlight all of the amazing things that have been going on the past week that I have to be thankful for, along with a few incredible things I’ve found across the blogosphere and internet. Here are my Monday Musings for last week!
Two weeks ago we took a trip to Chicago for my fiancé’s nephews baptism. We managed to find time to eat lunch at Big & Little’s, a diner we saw on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives show. Can you say pork belly po’ boy’s and fois gras fries? Because I can, and it was phenomenal!
Last weekend we had a great time golfing with my parents. Yay for beautiful golfing weather (finally)!
When is the best time to salt your burgers? The Kitchn is all over it, don’t worry!
This Wednesday, July 1st, I officially start work as a first year psychiatry resident. Kind of nervous, but pretty excited too!
These grilled St. Louis style ribs with raspberry gochujang BBQ sauce are soooo happening this summer. Oh yeah. I love how hot gochujang is, without being overly spicy.
The herb garden is rocking right now. We have it fully stocked with basil, parsley, cilantro, thyme, lemon thyme, oregano, purple basil, chives, and lavender. A chef’s dream!
This might be the best dog video of all time. I cannot imagine another dog being more in canine heaven than these pups!
