Today on the blog, I’m sharing our recently completed DIY project: our modern farmhouse foyer!

Happy Thursday, friends! Today I’m sharing the final reveal of our modern farmhouse foyer! This one was so simple but took us a while to complete – I guess that’s how it works when you’ve got a toddler running around and can only work during naptime! 😀

We had several projects left to fill in this space, and we finally completed them! First up was the accent wall we put up on the stairwell: we filled it with a simple board-and-batten square pattern. (I would love to extend this throughout the foyer one day, but that will be a project for another day!) We do intend to also do this accent on the wall leading down to the basement eventually.

Then we painted (and by we I mean me 😀 ) and finished out the final two projects. First up was this basket gallery wall! It was pretty simple to do, but did take a bit of critical thinking to decide how to hang each basket. And the second project was a full wall of black and white family photos that I picked up from Lowe’s.
