It’s been a long road to get to this post, but finally sharing with y’all our boys nursery reveal!
Happy Friday, friends! This post has been a long time in the making 😀 I feel like it’s a common occurrence that after baby #1, there is not as much urgency with completing all the “projects” 😀 With our firstborn, we had the nursery almost completely finished before she was even born. Now, 8 months after his birth, Benji’s room is finally finished 🙂 Come along with me on a tour of this space!
Benji’s room is set up the exact opposite of Sophia’s, and so we chose a similar layout for his room. We chose a beautiful deep blue paint color on the board and batten and an elegant French ticking wallpaper on top to match. I absolutely love this wallpaper! It is a grasscloth style from Spoonflower and I love how it elevates the space and is really something he can grow into.
We chose a beautiful rich brown dresser for clothing storage, and I love how it complements the gold metal crib opposite it in the room. My favorite piece in the room is probably this boucle rocker chair – I just love how cozy it is!
One of my favorite pieces in the room is his Montessori themed bookshelf by the door. I love that it allows him to easily see all his books as he grows older!
