Happy Wednesday, friends! I think while we are not out of the woods with cold rainy weather around here, it’s safe to say spring has finally sprung in terms of me keeping my fingers crossed for no more snow this season. That is not saying a lot, living in Michigan, but one can hope, right?! 🙂 I’ve been in the spring cleaning and refresh mode lately, and this summer we’ve got some fun projects ready for our outdoor spaces that I can’t wait to get started on! While we will need to wait a bit to start some of those projects, I have definitely gotten started recently with updates to the deck decor! This year the pillows really need an update, as does one of our outdoor rugs that we’ve had for over 5 years. I usually will power-wash our outdoor rugs at the beginning of the spring /summer season, but they of course need replacing occasionally, and thus year our oldest (and my most favorite 🙁 ) rug needed to hit the trash bin and get an upgrade. I headed to Target where they have so many good outdoor rug styles! (I am going to be sharing some of my favorites shortly here on the blog as well!) I oped for this simple black and white striped one so that I can grab some super fun more patterned pillows for the seating area this year.

I’m also looking to further create a modern rustic farmhouse garden oasis on the deck. This means lots of mix and match planters, to give it a somewhat eclectic and rustic style that still looks cohesive and purposeful. I picked up these amazing ceramic planters from Amazon for a great deal, and am sharing some other planters I grabbed below too so be sure to check those out! They are such high quality for the price!

Let me know below, what are you upgrading in your outdoor spaces this year?
