Ever since we got our juicer at our wedding shower, my brain’s been going crazy thinking up all sorts of ideas for things to juice and recipes to make! We bought a gorgeous cantaloupe the other day, and I thought this would be just perfect for juicing. I am absolutely in love with this juicer: it’s super simple to use and has easy dishwasher-safe cleanup. That is my kinda gadget!

The cantaloupe works really well for juicing because there isn’t a lot of bulky flesh, like say an orange or grapefruit might have. So the juice comes out really nice and clean with no straining necessary!

For these cocktails, I paired them with light white rum for the summer, sweet agave nectar for its earthy flavor component, and fresh mint. Top them off with some nice, bubbly club soda and you’ve got a drink that everyone will want seconds (and maybe thirds?) of this season!
