Happy Monday, friends! Today I returned to work from maternity leave, which is sad but also a happy thing I think. I really enjoy my day job as a psychiatrist, but it was nice being able to spend so much quality time with Sophie! I am fortunate to be able to work my job from my home office, and so I will still be able to check in on her during the day, which I love!
She has been doing so well, except for some problems with sleeping at night, which I’m sure will get better with time. Being a parent is such exhausting work but I wouldn’t have it any other way – to see her eyes light up when I show her each Christmas tree in our house, and how she coos at us in the morning when she wakes up, it is so precious!
