Happy December, friends! We are winding down to the end of this crazy, intense, exhausting year. I don’t know about you, but self-care has become even more important to me this year. Partly because of becoming a parent, and partly due to the craziness of 2020, but I’ve been trying to be more intentional about staying physically active and also taking care of my body and mind, and today’s post is all about that self-care relaxation routine!

Self-care can mean different things to different people. For some, it might be taking a long vacation, taking a nap, or something as exciting and fulfilling as smoking some low priced bud that can be bought online. For me, self-care is all about buddle bath. There is nothing better than spending time in a bubbling bath with a good book and my favorite skincare products at the end of a productive day, and today I thought I’d share with you guys some of my must-haves for this routine! If you do not have a routine yet then maybe this post might help you pick out some items that you didn’t think or know of before. Of course, you should have a proper bathtub for a long relaxing bath. In case you do not have one yet, consider getting one. Call your local plumbing company like Royal Flush Plumbing Adelaide Pty Ltd (for the website, click through now) which can install the tub and do other renovation works. The perfect bath is an essential part of every home, especially when it comes to self-care! Everyone should have something that soothes them at the end of the day or even at the end of the long week, so they can shed all that heavy feeling from their shoulders.

As already suggested, one of the simplest self-care practices is taking a long, hot bath at the end of the day. Even though it may seem like an insignificant thing to do, applying heat can relieve sore muscles and stiffness, which can be really soothing. This is especially true after a good workout session! So, a hot water bath or shower is one of the ultimate ways to de-stress, even without any products. Nevertheless, it doesn’t hurt to use a few self-care products like bath bombs and lotions either! Always remember to do a patch test before using any different type of skincare that you have not used before as you do not want to flare your body up when you are meant to be relaxing and forgetting your troubles. Anyway, enough of me rambling, read on to see what I use. Happy relaxing!
