Planning our Baby Boy’s Nursery

Before we know it, baby boy will be here! Whether you’re pregnant yourself or you’re using Florida adoption agencies or similar agencies in your area to have a baby, there’s just so much to do in order to prepare! One key area of the house to prepare is the nursery, which is why I’m sharing all our details for planning baby boys nursery today on the blog!

Happy Wednesday, friend! With our basement renovation project nearing completion (photos and videos will be coming when everything is complete!), it’s time to start thinking about future projects for 2022. We already revealed our plans to renovate our family room fireplace wall here, but first we want to slip in a quick renovation of baby boy’s nursery before we get started on that larger project because hey – we’re on a timeline, of course!

There is so much to do with a renovation project, everything needs to be planned down to the last detail to make sure it is being done correctly, luckily there is help out there for those who need a little bit of support as they go through this, for instance, you can check out personal loans or look into how AMF Equity Loans in Ontario, or wherever you are from, can be of assistance so there is less chance to run out of money. This applies especially if you are doing multiple renovations consistently and are eating into your budget. So if you need an electrician like masterelectrical.com/ or one in your local area, you’ll be able to get the help you need without the worry that you will go over budget on essential changes.

I absolutely love how the wallpaper wall turned out in Sophia’s room when we first renovated her space, so I know I want to use wallpaper again in some capacity. I love the idea of doing a higher board and batten style woodwork throughout the room, and then finishing off the top portion with a beautiful wallpaper that will hopefully withstand the tests of time as baby boy grows older!

I was inspired by Chris Loves Julia to pick up some grasscloth wallpaper samples, and I am absolutely in love with them! We are considering either a plaid or a striped pattern. I am still in debates with the hubs about what color to paint the board and batten. I am dreaming of a beautiful rich dark green or charcoal color possibly, but may just stick with a more classic and bright white to keep the room light.

Finally, read on to check out what the room currently looks like, and see some of my inspiration photos!
