I hope everyone had a wonderful Father’s Day! We spent the weekend with both of our families, and my husband got to do a lot of video game playing and a lot of golfing, so he was a very happy daddy-to-be! We are both thrilled that I’ve started feeling baby girl kicking around in my belly – of course always around 9pm when I’m wanting to go to sleep!
It’s such a weird thing when my wardrobe choices have to change on a weekly basis based on “what can I fit into still?” On Friday I took all my dresses out of my dress closet that I won’t be able to wear until after the baby is born (like. . . half of them – womp womp) and put them in our guest room closet. So sad, but also so excited thats we are inching forward to meeting our baby girl in person this fall!
Today’s look is one I can still fit into – yay! – but possibly not for much longer 😀 I picked up this periwinkle blue sundress from J.Crew Factory during their Memorial Day sales and it is even prettier in person than I could have imagined on the website! I’m seriously in love with this style and silhouette of dress – which is probably why this is now my third dress of this style in my closet 😀 Today I paired it with my graduation gift from the hubs – this adorable rattan Kate Spade bag! It’s back in stock in white (but also comes in a beautiful navy blue which could even be used into the fall, and really pretty green that is perfect for summer), so grab before the white sells out again! My only complaint is that the large iPhone XS does not fit in it – but that’s what hubby’s pocket is for 😀 (The smaller iPhones will definitely fit though!)
