What is the 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

The 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is Nordstrom’s biggest sale of the year! It’s a fantastic opportunity to stock up on items for the fall and grab some grab deals on late summer merch too!

When is the 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

The sale starts early if you are a cardholder! Cardholders can start shopping early on July 12 at 12:30pm, while the sale opens to the rest of the general public on July 19 and runs through August 4. The advantage of being a cardholder is definitely there: shop early before a lot of styles sell out! But don’t worry if you don’t have a Nordstrom card: it seems like they tend to restock some of those more popular items come July 19.

Madewell Ryder Stripe Cardigan Sweater

My Notes: Sweater runs mostly TTS depending on the fit you prefer! I typically like my sweaters to be oversized so I went with a medium, but if you like a more fitted cardigan look I would size down one. The material is nice and cozy, the color combination in the stripes is perfect for transitioning to fall, and it also has nice, big pockets!

Tory Burch Everly Leather Flap Saddle Bag (in Light Umber)

My Notes: Sooo cute and perfect for the fall! I’ve been wanting a brown leather messenger style bag for a while and this one really fits the bill, and has plenty of space inside. The leather is nice and supple, and it also comes in a beautiful ivory color, a fun light blue color, and a basic black. The tie detailing on the strap is so exquisite!

Something Navy Shine Trim Wool Fedora Hat (In Camel Combo)

My Notes: A perfect hat for the fall! While it only comes in one size, it does feature a tie on the inside where you can resize it to a larger or smaller size to fit your head perfectly! It’s a nice sturdy construction so I think it will be easy to pack in a suitcase for travel also, and the brown is beautifully rich, perfect for matching with lots of fall outfits!

Vince Camuto Kimora Cutout Shield Sandal (in Shady Grey Suede)

My Notes: Love love love! These are a perfect transition sandal during the fall. The cutout detail is amazing and they are very comfortable. I normally wear a size 8 in Vince Camuto and these run true-to-sizing for the brand. I also love the chunky wood block heel. They also come in black and wild mushroom brown, all such great colors for the fall!

BB Dakota Wade Drape Front Faux Suede Jacket (In Mocha)

My Notes: I love dressing this baby bump with a good drape front sweater or jacket, and I feel like this BB Dakota version is the perfect balance between the two! You could wear it as a lightweight jacket if necessary, but also just as part of your outfit. It’s insanely comfortable, and because it’s lightweight it is easy to roll up the sleeves if you want a casual look. Also comes in a lighter birch color!

BP Lace Trim Satin Camisole Top (In Beige Birch Leopard Dash)

My Notes: This is the perfect layering top for all seasons, and it fits the baby bump surprisingly well. I don’t think it will be maternity friendly for the whole pregnancy, but right now (25 weeks) it is perfect! I love the feminine touch of the lace detail. It runs true-to-size (I ordered in medium and probably would get same size post-birth also), and does have adjustable straps. It can be worn under a sweater or jacket, or tucked into some jeans for an effortless date night look. Plus it comes in a ton of other colors and patterns, so stock up at this price!

Caslon Fluffy Cardigan (In Green Smoke)

My Notes: Hello chenille heaven! This is easily my favorite cardigan from the sale – it is so comfy cozy and I love the ribbing detail on the pockets and sleeves. It is great for layering in the fall and comes in several cute colors (the pink taffy and ivory smoke are some more of my favorites!). It does run a little big so I sized down to a small for a more fitted look.

My Notes: This is my new favorite tee for the fall! It is easy to layer and I like how fitted it is. In addition, the tunic length means it’s perfect for baby bump! Ugg Callen Loafer (In Terracotta Nubuck Leather)

My Notes: You guys, the photos on the Nordstrom site do not do these shoes justice. First of all, Ugg has always been known for their comfort, which is why when I saw these cute little flats in such a gorgeous color, I knew I had to try them on. They are so comfy cozy and provide a lot of support in the bed of the foot, and the quality of the leather is very nice and soft. Lastly, this Terracotta color is to die for – I think it will be perfect for not only late summer but into the fall, and even the spring! It’s such a versatile color. They run true-to-size (I got an 8 and have always worn an 8 in Uggs).

My Notes: Right after the Caslon cardigan above, this is my second favorite cardigan! The colors are spot on for the fall. I would once again size down if you like a more fitted cardigan look (I grabbed this in a small).

My Notes: Perfect colors for the fall, these suede booties are going to be a staple in my wardrobe. They run true-to-size (I grabbed an 8) and the suede is super soft. I also love the stacked wooden heel look.

Halogen Ribbed Sweater (In Ivory-Black Stripe)

My Notes: Halogen continues to be one of my favorite sweater brands year after year, and this year is no exception! This year this ribbed fine-knit crewneck sweater is on sale, is super soft, and runs true-to-size. I like the fitted look (I grabbed this in a medium) for this piece, but if you like a looser look then size up.

Vince Camuto Nethera Perforated Booties (In Graystone Suede)

My Notes: I was looking for a pair of gray booties for the fall, and I love the perforated suede on these Vince Camutos! This is a great price and will go back up after the sale, so if you’re looking for a great staple piece for your fall wardrobe, these are them! They are also a pretty low heel which is nice for work. The website states they run a 1/2 size small, but I disagree and fit well into an 8 as usual, so if you are between sizes you may need to size down.

My Notes: The hat I am wearing is an old hat from a previous sale, but this years sale contains this super cute Something Navy wool fedora hat that gives a similar style! I picked it up in the Camel Combo color, but am loving the gray too!

Halogen V-Neck Cashmere Sweater (In Black)

My Notes: You guys – it’s back! My favorite cashmere sweater from last year is back in some old colors and some new colors. Last year I picked this up in black and also a beautiful red, and the color selection this year does not disappoint. I’m especially looking at that Rust Sequoia and Compact Pink colors. Fit is true-to-size, although if you prefer it more fitted I would size down (I grabbed a medium). Super cozy and warm for the fall and winter, and for cashmere you can’t beat this price!

Thread & Supply Wubby Fleece Pullover

My Notes: This was a favorite in the sale last year that sold out really quickly, and it’s back this year in a slightly modified style and some gorgeous fall colors! I’m wearing last years style above, but it has same sizing this year, and I would size down if you want it to be more fitted. I will say one thing about this item that is negative is that it’s dry clean only, but it’s so incredibly cozy and fuzzy and the perfect Sunday-wear that I am fully willing to dry clean it!

Zella Live In High Waist Leggings (In Black)

My Notes: These are the best leggings, y’all! If you don’tk now about Zella yet, this sale is the perfect time to try a pair. I love the high waist and I love how they hold up, wash after wash. The run true-to-size (I usually wear medium), and there is also a maternity version (which I’m wearing in the photos above, but I have two regular pair already too 😀 ), which is also on sale!
