A New Years Resolution FREEBIE + A Prosecco Cocktail

Happy New Year from Walt Disney World! Another day, a new year. I love New Years because it gives a renewed sense of hope and excitement for all that we have to look forward to in the coming 365 days. Today I would like to share with you all some of my favorite inspirational quotes regarding the New Year. A simple elderflower cocktail finished off with everyone's favorite bubbly!

Ingredients
  1. Gold sugar, for garnish
  2. 1 oz. gin
  3. ½ oz. elderflower syrup (click here)
  4. ½ lemon, juiced
  5. Prosecco
Instructions
  1. Fill a champagne coupe with ice water and set aside to chill. Pour some gold sugar on a small plate that is at least larger than the diameter of the champagne coupe.
  2. Fill a shaker with ice. Add gin, elderflower syrup, and lemon juice. Shake for 25-30 seconds. Empty champagne coupe. Run the lemon half around the rim of the glass. Turn glass upside down and dip the rim in the gold sugar until coated. Strain contents of the shaker into the champagne coupe and top with prosecco.
