My Fall Table Decor

It’s fall, y’all! I’m sharing my new fall table decor, pumpkins and all, and also some extra shots of other fall harvest decor around the house!

Happy Labor Day, everyone! It’s finally here: September! Which means pumpkin spice lattes, cozy scarves and warm boots, and apple cider and donuts. And it means I can finally pull out all my fall decor. Which to be honest, I’ve been craving for a few weeks now. I always find this to be a hard time of the year because I’m torn between my love for fall and the desire to continue wearing all my cute summer dresses while decorating my twins bedroom as well! (Which I definitely did yesterday.)

You guys asked for my fall table decor that I posted on my Instagram story yesterday, so today I’m sharing that decor with you! I am really in love with this tablescape setup this season! Below I’ve linked all my items with a few notes about how I formed the centerpiece.

To assemble the centerpiece, I started with a beautiful rectangular tobacco basket, which is a great versatile piece because it can literally be dressed for any season. I started by placing some of the greenery leaves on the bottom of the basket. Then I added a center candle before piling the larger orange pumpkins in a random display throughout the basket. I filled in any medium-sized leftover spaces with the smaller white pumpkins and gourds. Then I used metal clippers to snip off small branches from the various floral and leaf stems I purchased, and nestled these throughout the tray amongst the pumpkins and gourds. The final touch was to pile on a few acorns here and there to fill in any gaps. This fall I am choosing to do a blue accent color with our fall decor (which let me tell you, I was a little unsure of how my vision would actually play out at first, but I am loving the blue amongst the rest of the usual fall color palette!). You could sub out any other accent color you prefer, however. For example, a red or burgundy stem would lend itself to a more traditional fall color palette, while a striking black faux flower stem could make the whole presentation much more Halloween-esque!

(P.S. These candlestick holders are literally perfection. I am so happy I found them – they work perfectly for both fall and winter decor! #obsessed)

Lastly, here are some quick picks of some of the other fall decor we’ve got going on around the house this year. I absolutely love those felted pumpkins from Home Goods! (I also found some great felt pumpkins online here, here, here and here!).
