It’s my favorite season of the year, finally! I love how it just feels like there is so much magic in the air at this time. From hunting down our perfect Christmas trees at the tree farm, to spending time cozied up by the fire with our pups, to cooking delicious comfort food to share with loved ones: it really feels like the most wonderful time of the year!

I must say that it looked so lovely that I considered hiring a Cape Cod family photographer to click a picture with my family (I wish they were with me over here) standing next to the decorations. But then I decided to save it for another special occasion.

Anyway, after we had moved in the spring earlier this year, we had to do a major upgrade on our Christmas decor as the house is bigger now. So today I’m sharing with you all the holiday decorations around our house, including our two live Christmas tree!

Our front hall is so festive! I filled it with lots of beautiful greenery, mainly in the form of a beautiful faux boxwood garland down all the banisters, tied with buffalo check flannel ribbon. I also interspersed eucalyptus branches within the boxwood to give it a little more texture and interest.

In addition to the garlands, I added a few cheerful items to the bench and entryway table, including a super cute felted deer I got last year in one of my favorite stores in Disney Springs, a beautiful buffalo check bow (sold out from Hobby Lobby, but similar available here) added to my olive branch wreath, this cute reindeer feed bag, and a mini tree wrapped in burlap.

I also used garland on the kitchen table, and interspersed berry branches, acorns and pinecones throughout to give it a more festive appearance. Paired with my new favorite candlesticks and it has a beautifully classic holiday feel!

Now let’s head over to the family room, where our first Christmas tree is! My husband calls this “the fun tree” because it has most of our sentimental ornaments that we’ve collected over the years. I went for a red, white and gold theme that was a bit more rustic. I absolutely love the picks I used on this trees: a combination of cotton and crystals give it a rustic glam look that I find quite charming! I paired it with a lush red quilted tree skirt to finish off the look.

A few other small touches including these faux trees, my Fresh Cut Christmas Trees sign, and a few cute plaid blankets and festive pillows!

Lastly, what my husband calls “our serious tree”! 😀 I went for a classic white and gold color combo and wanted to make it match well with our modern farmhouse vibe. So I paired beautiful classic white poinsettia stems with lots of touches of golden glam – the golden firework balls picks are my favorite!

I also snuck in some black velvet ribbon to give it a little bit of a dark edge as well. A white furry tree skirt completes my farmhouse glam look!
