A boring master bath gets a mini-remodel into a gorgeous French country bathroom, with a navy, gray and white color palette.
Sometimes you just need a refresh!

You sometimes look at the bank account and it tells you “no, I don’t think so.” That’s how I was feeling about our master bath. We had originally painted it this lovely light gray color when we first moved in, and I had paired it with lots of white towels and a gray shower curtain that my husband brought with us into the marriage. Now it was time for that curtain to go, and thus my French country concept was born, when I set my eye on that gorgeous white and blue shower curtain at HomeGoods!

That shower curtain set it off: a blue and gray and white color theme with a rustic French country style. My husband helped me put together these gorgeous, rustic DIY pipe shelves, and I filled them with glass jars, jewelry, perfume and these adorable vintage Italian prints. My turquoise Ball jars were the perfect addition for makeup brushes and toothbrushes!

I’m not a huge fan of any “style” of decor going too far in one direction, and so I loved adding those industrial shelves and this cement tissue box cover to give the space a little edge. Some of the other items we used include:
- A set of navy blue cotton towels,
- A white cotton bath mat,
- A DIY printable from Magnolia Market, in a gold vintage frame, and
- A white ceramic soap dispenser.
