It’s one of my favorite times of the year: the holidays! Which means, holiday dinner parties! Every year my husband and I throw a dinner party for close friends. It’s an opportunity to share delicious food and our favorite wines, cocktails and other non alcoholic wine with our friends, to show them how much we care about them, and to celebrate the holidays in style.

In addition to hosting a dinner party, we also purchase gifts for them and their kids. To be honest, we suffer from a dilemma while purchasing gifts for kids. There are so many options to choose from. For example, should we gift them a Pokémon set, something like the Pokémon Astral Radiance (https://pokeflip.com/collections/swsh10-astral-radiance), which can be a perfect addition to the kids’ Pokémon collection? Or should we buy clothing items like a graphic-printed T-shirt? Or would buying books be the best option? Anyway, since we have always been confused, this time we had actually thought of getting the coolest things to buy with 40 dollars from sites similar to Noveltystreet. But then, we decided to do it another time. Last time, a few days before hosting a dinner party, we got to know that one of our friends’ sons was about to graduate. So, we thought of purchasing something for him. We planned on buying something similar to a sage pullover that can be found on Jostens and its likes. Gifts acts as token of love. That is why whenever we host a dinner party we purchase gifts.

That said, if you find yourself in a similar situation this season, don’t leave home without one of these perfect holiday hostess gifts!

1. A marble wine cooler + a bottle of your favorite wine

TableCraft White Marble Wine Cooler

For starters, you can’t go wrong bringing a nice bottle of wine to a dinner party! Elevate this gift by pairing it with a beautiful accessory, such as this stunning marble wine cooler to keep wine cold right at the table!

2. Coffee to serve with dessert

Another idea for the perfect beverage gift is to bring your favorite coffee (or a new one you’ve been waiting to try!) as a gift. This is a great option because it can keep the party going by providing a conversation piece to lead into after dinner coffee and dessert! My favorite coffee currently is this illy dark roast, and some other brands I’m looking to try soon are above as well!

3. A cookbook of her favorite cuisine

What’s your friend favorite cuisine to cook? Grab one or two interesting cookbooks from that cuisine and wrap them up in a big red bow for a gift that your dinner party hostess will appreciate time and again. (Tip: Include the gift receipt – just in case she already has that book!)

4. A basket full of tasty bitters, grenadine, and other cocktail ingredients…

Pack a basket with an assortment of cocktail ingredients! Some ideas include different types of bitters, grenadine, simple syrups, or cocktail accessories (see #5!).

5. …and cocktail accessories, too!

When in doubt, you can’t go wrong with beautiful and unique cocktail accessories! Throw together a gift basket with the classics like a shaker, jigger, and muddler. Then add some fun extras like cocktail straws, ice-cube trays, and swizzle sticks! I love those birch patterned paper straws – so perfect for the winter!

6. Artisan goods, like jams, pickles, and pasta

Sometimes those beautiful artisan goods at the market are the ones we love to drool over, but can never bring ourselves to buy. Let your hostess treat herself to these tasty artisanal goods, like pickles, organic pasta, and homemade jams!
