Come along with me on my first Zaful Haul of Summer 2018! I’m reviewing their website, ordering process, shipping times, and item quality, so be sure to check out this post before ordering from Zaful!
I’m so excited to share with you guys my very first haul review today! Today I’m reviewing five pieces I purchased recently from Zaful, including the ordering process, shipping and handling, and quality of the items themselves. So let’s dive right in!
First up, the website itself is very easy to navigate. The categories are appropriately labeled, and you have the ability to filter categories based on several variables, including my favorite: Priority Dispatch! Priority Dispatch is a feature of some items in these Asian market websites that means the items are all ready to ship out soon. I chose only Priority Dispatch items for this order, which may have factored into the shipping time discussed below. If possible, I’d highly recommend trying to keep your order to Priority Dispatch; otherwise, recognize it could take more time for your items to be shipped out. And there are plenty of options to choose from that are under Priority Dispatch, so it should be easy to find some cute items!
I did a lot of research on each item I chose to purchase, as I wanted to try my best to ensure good quality and proper sizing. Here are some of my tips (included in my video linked above!):
Point: Zaful! I was really impressed with their shipping and handling. I ordered my items on May 31 and received notification they had shipped on June 1. I then received notification that FedEx had attempted to deliver my items on June 11, as a signature was required. However, I was not able to pick them up until June 12. So 10 days for shipping was pretty good compared to the month it took me to get my items when I first ordered from them several years ago!
I ordered five items in total from Zaful, and first up is this adorable floral skirt! I purchased this primarily to use for work, and I think it will fit nicely into my business casual work wardrobe. The skirt is fully lined and has an elastic waistband, and the quality is quite nice. It did come with a few strands hanging off the ends which I easily snipped off. It is a great length for work, and I plan to pair it with a blouse and either a blazer or a denim jacket. I normally wear a size 2 or 4 in bottoms, and this came in one size and it fit well.
Next up is this super cute t-shirt that is entirely appropriate and accurate to my life! This t-shirt is super soft and comfy, and I love that it has these folded over sleeves! We will have to see how the printed words hold up after multiple trips through the washer and dryer, but for $12.99, I’m okay with it if there are any issues. I usually order a medium in t-shirts and I ordered a large; I feel that this fit was a good choice as I don’t like my t-shirts to be skin-tight, so this was just right!
Next up is this super cute V-neck twisted sweater in a charcoal gray with pearl detail. I was really excited to get this item, however, the quality of the knit is a bit lower than I would have liked. It wasn’t itchy or scratchy when I tried it on, however, I do feel that I will probably need to wear a cami or tube top underneath if I’m wearing it out. However, for the price of $20.99 I feel like it was a good buy. The pearl detailing is a bit disappointing because they are not sewn on, they are almost pinned on, and so I feel that they could potentially fall off. I will keep you posted! I usually like to wear a medium in sweaters, and this comes in only one size which fit nicely.
Next up is this cute little striped black and white bodysuit number! I am just now getting into the realm of bodysuit’s, and I absolutely love that I don’t have to keep tucking in my shirt with these! I really liked the pattern on this bodysuit, and I like the mock turtleneck as well. It features 3/4 length sleeves also. The material is pretty nice in that it is not see-through, which is a common concern regarding items on these websites. The length of the bodysuit is perfect too, which is something that is concerning to me usually because I am fairly tall at 5’8″. I usually order my tops in a size medium and I ordered this in a size large; I do believe the medium would have been too snug.
Last up, this adorable cropped off-the-shoulder top! I really love the material on this, it’s a very linen-esque feel. I absolutely love the little ruffle on the top too, so cute! My only wish is that it were a little bit longer, but I plan to wear this with high-waisted jeans or shorts this summer! I ordered this top in a size large as well.
Would I order from Zaful again? Definitely! I stand by my previous statements that it is important to do your homework when it comes to these types of websites and choose items according to reviews, review photos, and sizing information. In addition, using the Priority Dispatch option is a great way to ensure quick shipping, but I definitely wouldn’t order an item from this site that I know I need very soon. Lastly, this is a great way to try out fashion trends you aren’t sure about for your body type or style, or trends that you are worried might not last too long! 🙂
