Sometimes you just need a refresh! But then you look at the bank account and it tells you “no, I don’t think so.” So a mini-remodel is in store instead, in the form of colors and prints and decor!

That’s how I was feeling about our master bath. We had originally painted it this lovely lighter gray color when we first moved in, and I had paired it with lots of white towels and a gray shower curtain that my husband brought with us into the marriage. It was time for that curtain to go, and thus my French country concept was born when I set my eye on that gorgeous white and blue shower curtain at HomeGoods!

That shower curtain set it off: a blue and gray and white color theme with a rustic French country style. My husband helped me put together these gorgeous, rustic DIY pipe shelves, and I filled them with glass jars, jewelry, perfume and these adorable vintage Italian prints. My turquoise Ball jars were the perfect addition for makeup brushes and toothbrushes!

I’m not a huge fan of any “style” of decor going too far in one direction, and so I loved adding those industrial shelves and this cement tissue box cover to give the space a little edge. Some of the other items we used include:

  • A set of navy blue cotton towels,
  • A white cotton bath mat,
  • A DIY printable from Magnolia Market, in a gold vintage frame, and
  • A white ceramic soap dispenser.

I’m certain that remodelling a bathroom can be a significant expensive affair. Perhaps I should find somebody in my general vicinity who can assist me with my plans. My wife and I drew up some stuff that we might want to find in our bathroom. We don’t know if it’s conceivable to do, however.

Jessica, thanks so much for your lovely comment! The pipe shelvings are one of my favorite things and I was sad to leave them behind when we moved earlier this year!

Congrats on your project! With very few details you reno your bathroom. By the way, I really liked the model of your cabinet, could you tell me its measures? I think I can build one like yours. I totally liked it. It’s really looking so astonishing. These Pictures are so prettiest. I love it. Keep it up.
