Sharing our cozy Christmas bedroom for the holidays, complete with garland!

Happy Wednesday, friends! I shared our holiday home decor on the blog on Monday, and today I’m back to share the last holiday home decor post for this season: our cozy Christmas bedroom! There can be various changes that could be done to a bedroom. From replacing furniture to painting walls and incorporating secondary glazing (explore Bespoke Secondary Glazing in London) for improved energy efficiency, I can take up various improvement ideas.

The original plan for the bedroom this year was actually brand new bedding, but the reality of the current supply chain issues unfortunately means all my new bedding is still on the way and won’t be here until after the New Year now. I’ll still use it when it arrives as it can pass nicely as winter bedding. I might even throw in some lumbar support pillows which can be moved around the house. Lumbar support pillows tend to ease back pain and provide support, ensuring that your spine remains in a natural position when you sit or lie on your back. The pillows come in several forms, including memory foam pillows. In order to provide constant support, the pillow contours the inner curve of the spine to cradle the lower back. In addition, the long lumbar cushion or pillow tends to be lightweight, so you can carry it anywhere. A lack of lumbar support can lead to tight muscles and cramps when sitting for long periods of time. Considering the amount of work we do daily, and also our tendency for bad posture, I think we might need it soon!

In the meantime, I figured I’d make do with the current situation by throwing in some pops of red. I picked up a cute garland to put over the bed too. Our garland is fake, but you could also use real foliage if you want that festive smell of holly and fir.
